Meet the team

Mark Blunden

Founded by Mark Blunden in 2002, BM Autosport was born from a lifelong passion for cars and a knack for buying and selling automotive products. Mark’s journey started in 1999 when he bought his first BMW—a 1985 E30 323i—from a friend who specialized in dismantling these iconic vehicles. Along with the car came a set of wheels, sparking an interest that quickly turned into a thriving business.

In 2002, BM Autosport officially opened its doors in a small shop, initially specializing in BMW wheels. As demand grew, so did the business, expanding into new wheels and other German car brands. By 2007, BM Autosport moved into a larger industrial unit, allowing for even greater stock and variety. Over the next five years, the team supplied wheels to customers across the globe before relocating to their current premises in 2012. Today, BM Autosport proudly offers wheels for all vehicle makes and models, including a comprehensive range for commercial vans.

With 25 years of hands-on experience, Mark ensures that every customer gets more than just advice from a screen—he offers real expertise, tailored to their specific needs. Whether it's selecting the perfect wheels or ensuring the right fitment, BM Autosport is committed to delivering quality and precision every time.

Peter Phan

With 25 years of experience in the motor industry, Peter has been part of the BM Autosport journey almost from the very beginning. After a break, he returned three years ago and now serves as General Sales Manager.

A fully qualified mechanic, Peter holds a BTEC National Diploma and a degree in Motor Vehicle Engineering. Alongside his technical expertise, he also gained valuable experience as a prestige car salesman, giving him a well-rounded understanding of both the mechanical and sales sides of the industry.

Peter has a deep passion for cars—especially BMWs, with a particular love for M-powered models. Outside of work, he is a dedicated football fan, spending much of his time watching the game and supporting his two children on the pitch. At BM Autosport, Peter combines his technical knowledge and sales expertise to help customers find the perfect wheels while ensuring they receive expert, personalised advice. His enthusiasm for cars, football, and family is at the heart of everything he does.

John Stanford

With a lifelong passion for cars, John has been in the motor industry for as long as he can remember. Growing up in a family of mechanics, he was constantly surrounded by different vehicles—thanks to his dad bringing home a new car almost every week! This early exposure to a variety of makes and models ignited his love for all things automotive and set him on the path to a career in the industry.

This April 2025 marks 10 years since John joined BM Autosport, and in that time, he has become an integral part of the team. As Workshop Manager, John is in charge of fitting wheels on-site, packing orders, and building tyre and wheel packages, ensuring every setup meets our high standards. He loves the hands-on work and the excitement of never knowing what special car will roll into the shop next.

Outside of work, John is an avid mountain biker, loves camping, and regularly attends motorsport events.
